Warranty

AXLE & LUX LIGHTING — LIMITED WARRANTY

Axle & Lux Lighting (“Axle & Lux”) warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for the periods outlined below, beginning on the date of shipment to the original purchaser.

1. GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS

This Limited Warranty applies only when:

· The product is in possession of the original end-use purchaser.

· The original proof of purchase and product identification can be verified.

· Axle & Lux is provided the opportunity to inspect the claimed defective product or component.

This warranty does not apply to products that have been:

· Used for purposes other than those for which they were designed.

· Damaged due to abuse, misuse, accident, alteration, modification, neglect, or mishandling.

· Improperly installed, stored, maintained, or operated.

· Used in violation of Axle & Lux written instructions.

· Used in commercial, industrial, or 24-hour operation, unless expressly approved in writing by Axle & Lux.

This warranty does not cover cosmetic issues such as scratches, abrasions, discoloration, or deterioration caused by chemicals, solvents, paints, or abrasive cleaning methods.

2. INDOOR PRODUCTS

Fixture Warranty

Indoor fixtures are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for ONE (1) year from the date of shipment.

LED Components

· Integrated LED modules and drivers: FIVE (5) years or 50,000 hours (based on typical residential usage of 3 hours per day).

Finish Care

Indoor finishes require only periodic cleaning with a soft cloth and water. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh cleaning agents, which may damage protective coatings and void the finish warranty.

3. OUTDOOR PRODUCTS

Fixture Warranty

Outdoor fixtures are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for THREE (3) years from the date of shipment.

Outdoor LED Components

Integrated outdoor LED modules and drivers are warranted for FIVE (5) years or 50,000 hours, based on usage not exceeding eight (8) hours per day.

4. MARINE-GRADE POWDER-COATED FINISH (If Applicable)

Axle & Lux warrants its marine-grade powder-coated finish for FIVE (5) years, covering:

· Corrosion

· Peeling

· Structural deterioration of the underlying metal

This finish warranty does not cover:

· Fading, chalking, or discoloration

· Cosmetic changes due to UV exposure, weather, coastal environments, chemicals, or airborne contaminants

5. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product or component at Axle & Lux’s discretion.

Axle & Lux is not responsible for:

· Removal or reinstallation labor

· Shipping or handling costs

· Special, incidental, or consequential damages

Use of incorrect installation methods, improper wiring, or bulb wattage voids the warranty.

6. DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTY

Any implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty.

Some provinces or states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, these limitations may not apply. This warranty provides specific legal rights; additional rights may vary by jurisdiction.
